While I agree that this is annoying, at the end of the day it's a problem with the players.
As long as people will pay those individuals they will continue to advertise it.
Same with the RMT bots they wouldn't exist if nobody would buy gil from them.
I was with you until the latter part... Now I'm not saying there isn't "legit"(and against ToS mind you) gil sellers out there... but 99% of the time, a gill selling thing will result in them wanting your account info then you losing your account... and then shortly after, it being banned... Why would someone give you gil when they could just take your account, gil, and your money? So idk how big that one is....

True but there will always be rotten apples in any society. Criminal actions in rl is also because of people - it doesn't mean they don't get punished for it by the society. "Society" here is watched over by SE so they need to take action to prevent all kind of RMT activity and botting.
Interesting. This is actually the norm for players who can’t get a static in Blade and Soul to do the hardest raids, but still want the strongest weapons. You have a few groups of players who can clear the end game raids easy and profiting off bidding items and raid clears to players willing to pay because said players are desperate to progress on their gear. It’s just sad and surprising to see something similar in a sub game like ffxiv.

I really dont understand why SE does nothing about it.
You cant kill all ultimates/ savage fights with only 7 player therefore they have to log into the buyers account and that is already against ToS.
We dont have to talk about the fact that they only take real money-
It's reached the point where it's starting to put me off the game. I don't doubt that I'm struggling to find a group to raid with in no small part because of the amount of players who are supposedly just buying clears through Discord.
