They would though with this system. It would be called, running the dungeon on the job you want loot for.

And, no. Sometimes ppl actually need a piece of gear that drops. I think a lot of us also run content on jobs we want the gear for just to help guarantee we get it. It would be infuriating to farm caster gear on a caster to have the drg get the 6 caster pieces that dropped when you only got the one at the end of the dungeon. This would also be a be burden to ppl leveling or just finishing a patch and needing dungeon gear as temp catch up pieces. A single click for need/greed is the least of the clicking woes this game has. A retainer click overhaul is much more sorely needed, as just a single example.
