That's literally the only reason why this is still up.
They do the same thing on WoW forums and it's a very
popular Hot Topic there with similar comments like this.
The cycle continues.
I do suspect that there's a hidden internal rule for how to handle threads that touch on heavy topics. The moderators have outright deleted some controversial threads - especially if they directly touch upon regional political issues - whilst consistently leaving threads related to LGBT characters open even when and where they devolve into mudslinging or are written in arguable bad faith in the first place.
I simply hope, as a gay guy myself, that the company is smart enough to realise that the sort of stuff presented and pushed by self declared LGBT 'movements' are by no means representative of what many LGBT people belief, think and feel.
It is my firm belief that representation is nice to have, though it should never be deemed a 'necessity' or demanded in its inclusion. I don't feel less 'included' when I play as Geralt of Rivia whenever I fancy playing a bit of The Witcher. Nor do I even believe it possible to have absolutely everyone 'represented' in a game without compromising its integrity.
Much like how I thought that it was very jarring for 'bigot sandwich' to be a line in The Last of Us 2. As if anyone growing up after a near mass extinction event for humanity combined with a zombie apocalypse would actually be taught or use such terminology.
Don't tell people how to live their lives.
Honestly it's both sad and impressive at your ability to constantly try to not see the point.
Then maybe you should explain it better instead of saying objectively false statements.
Also, if you don't want me to tell you how to live your life, you can't do that to me, which means I don't have to give you shit and you'rere back to square one asking me and everyone else for things because you want them.

I've tried explaining things to you so many times. The simple fact of the matter is that you don't care and you never will. By your own admission actually. You have this very twisted world view that things are only acceptable if a vague concept called "the majority" cares to accept someone's thing. People should not ever have to mold themselves to "the majority" unless what they are hurts people, which representation doesn't do. I've seen good arguments in this thread about why representation probably wouldn't work in this specific game, but you seem to not want representation in anything. Or rather you are actively against representation. So really I think the appropriate question here is; who hurt you?

If you are tired of explaining it so many times and people have either not caught your meaning, you may not be the correct person to explain anything.
The majority is the common man, the everyday individual. It's not that vague a concept. You are not forced to do anything, but the majority are not forced to accept you or even help you. I am actively against forced representation, not realistic representation. Having LGBT and straight people in a setting where required is fine, but in 99% of the story, it's not needed in any media unless you want to introduce children. It takes a man and woman to do that unless there is some form of a test-tube baby, but even then, you would like a man and woman to produce the best results.
Having gay characters is fine. The recent Harry Potter movie did it very well, but the romance in that movie could have been removed, and it would have been the same. I am also the person who put up the point, which has been shown recently to be proven correct with Doctor Strange, that countries will ban it because they won't accept it, and you can't force them to.
I don't need to be hurt to realise that my life is dependent on others and that it's not about me, something you have a tough time grasping. I am grateful for my life and the privileges of being allowed to live in a society where I am not persecuted or thrown off a roof for having open-ended sex. I am grateful that I can do 100% of the things others can do in this society freely without question. Still, unlike you, I confine that which others might seem insensitive, harmful to their children and even vulgar in my bedroom where it rightfully belongs, and even straight sex on TV has this effect and has turned a large number of shows into softcore porn.
If you want to be accepted you also have to accept others' cultural standards, religions and dress codes. if you do not you will not achieve the same level of treatment they would show someone who does. You want to have your cake and eat it too.
Like I said before many if you acted with nobility and fostered goodwill with the majority of society instead of whining about how life is unfair they might be more accepting of you.

The majority wanting something doesn't make it right or even smart. The majority of "gamers" said paying for horse armor is fine. Not like it matters this late in the game, a lot of bad practices are common now thanks to the majority, at worst, becoming apathetic at the topic at hand. Oh well, lol.
