"Incels" are actually quite a diverse group, although often maligned due to some individuals that identified as. Most I've met are far more sad and defeated than angry or hateful towards women. Most of the angry is directed at culture rather than an individual. A fascinating group and phenomenon that should really be studied with a more even hand than it has.

Are we really going down this route? The majority of the these young men and women problems could be solved with a yrs worth of gym sessions and meeting the opposite sex in a community-driven environment and not on tinder.

I mean I agree, social media and the culture around it kind of made said group, and other groups.

It's because they want control over women, usually. The incel subculture, at least.

If they can't have their barefoot tradwives then it's the fault of society.

I'd say it more of an inability to organically create a connection that torments them. I imagine it's like having a voice questioning your self worth in the background the whole time.
