It upsets me when I see people throw this word out without knowing the definition. It means National Socialist of course, but has far darker descriptions and implications and should only be used when accurate.

Still waiting on this thread to be locked. The topic derailed a long time ago & it’s very rare people stay on the subject. This thread often results in arguments.

I kinda miss when this thread was about 'Subtlety Vs Direct’ inclusion. Sure trying to convince people for the 21st time that no, we actually do not want LGBTQ+ characters with just one trait felt like banging my head against a wall, at least then it kinda had a a basis in the topic at hand!

I would have liked to try and explain why I think despite their flaws, LGBTQ+ and apparent ‘identity politics’ organisations and movements really are still needed in the world given how equality laws are being rolled back and places like the UK are becoming more and more hostile to trans folk by the day, but I feel doing that here on a MMO forum would be like lighting a candle with slippery hands in a fireworks factory.

Also, I do think its sad to call people degenerates for simply shipping fictional characters. Let people do what they want! Its not harming anyone. Besides, we are all gonna be degenerates in someones view. None of us are perfect!

Almost like it actually is meaningful, but they just want to stop any conversation about it. Its enough to almost say these people are against this sort of thing.
