Basically is it, yup.

You know what really sucks? People that post these kinds of threads ultimately hurt a lot more than the proclaimed "transphobes" that respond to it too. I'm not sure if that's the goal of the original post, and all of the responses, but that's definitely what's happening.

People champ at the bit to jump in and call people that disagree with them names instead of having a conversation (most of the time because they're incapable of having authentic thoughts and positions).

I do agree with that. When it comes to these type of topics it get very touchy and emotions are tied. They are not willing to understand the other side of the coin if you will.
