Frustrating relative lack of LGBT NPCs in this game

To you, it doesn't make sense, the game is a 13+. It will have children playing it, and yes, it is worse in many cultures. The children's argument makes complete sense parents don't want corporations to introduce their children to these subjects. It's not complicated. The Flordia senate in the US is going through legislation to deal with Disney on that exact matter, and Disney has torture, rape and death in it, and it's marketed towards children. The middle east, Africa, South America, and the far east also have stricter policies toward sexuality than those other topics.

Does that make it morally right? It doesn't matter. That's the way people react to it. Some cultures in Asia won't even allow you to hold hands or kiss in public. Your standards are not the standard of the majority of people who are deeply religious.

Just because the majority of people react to something in one way doesn't mean it should never be put out there for fear of offending them. Plenty of people find these other subjects offensive and yet games have no problem incorporating them all the time. Saying that parents don't want children exposed to one thing but it's perfectly fine if they're exposed to these others just because for some reason they're not as "bad" is not a good argument.

It does if you want to sell a product in those regions. You are coming at this from a principle standpoint and the majority of the world doesn't care about your principles and doesn't run their life based on them. They run them on theirs amd only theirs. If you have a problem with parents showing them these other things take it up with the parents and good luck doing so but it doesn't change anything because they will just tell you to go away and then play CoD or watch the game of thrones or play WAP next to their 5 yr old in the car.
