I mean nobody within this thread that I have seen as advocated for any punitive action or nastiness like that upon those they disagree with. It's just they are pointing out flaws in the other's position that they cannot logically reconcile with and thus seek to simply gloss over.

"Incels" are actually quite a diverse group, although often maligned due to some individuals that identified as. Most I've met are far more sad and defeated than angry or hateful towards women. Most of the angry is directed at culture rather than an individual. A fascinating group and phenomenon that should really be studied with a more even hand than it has.
