I mean, to be fair, we don't see many confirmed straight NPCs as well. I mean, the only one I know for a fact off hand is Thancred but who is to say he isn't Bi because he hasn't made any comments about men or something?

I believe representation is one thing but leaving things as vague is pretty fine at best because it leaves a lot of room for fan theories and less of confirmed disappointments. Why do you think the ending of the Eden saga was so popular? It was because the ending was left so open ended and vague that people can imagine that Ryne and Gaia are a cute teenage couple (Raia or Gyne? Ship names are weird).

I am happy that the devs gave us the option to have same-sex marriage right off the bat when they released the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding back in 2.45 instead of just patching it in or something.

As I am not a doctor, I can not state what causes gender dysphoria, it could be a chemical inbalance in the brain or a hormone thing I have no idea. How ever I can verify if I dressed like a woman, I would have no sense of dysphoria or disconnection between the mind and body. So if I am able to do it, I would bet that other people that do not have gender dysphoria are able to do it as well, simply as a fad or to fit in. Now that being said, I think in reality you are going to see this type of behavior more common in young adults / children, than you are in adults. I think the odds are more likely to run into some one that is likely faking it for attentions sake specially people under the age of probably about 25-27ish.

I can agree, keeping things vague also prevents back lash. Any one remember Last Of Us 2, and how much hate that game got cause it portrayed two lesbians, a muscular female, and a girl dressed up as a boy. I thought it was a very good follow up to last of us, I am a sucker for revenge stories though regardless how cliche they can get.
