That sounds like a strawman argument. Did anybody actually say they dont respect trans people because they're trans? I've seen plenty of "I dont owe you respect, respect is earned" which is something I agree with myself.

I found the info on men competing in womens sports to be quite interesting. To go from average results at best competing against men to record breaking results when competing against women. Its not hateful to say that is unfair against women to have to compete against biological men who have grown up as men and have all that muscle growth and other advantages. What about testosterone? I would imagine hormone replacement therapy lowers it dramatically but does it bring it to comperable levels to women? Basic biology is not hateful. You dont have to like it but it does exist and no amount of wishful thinking can change that our bodies are different. We grow and develop differently.
