You really shouldn't engage with this person they were defending homophobes like earlier in this very thread.Good thing that "subculture" doesn't do that. The fringe parts do, sure, because every subculture has their toxic assholes. Just like we don't use the Westboro Baptist Church as the representation of all Christians, perhaps not branding everyone as the same thing? (You know, something you're claiming gets done to everyone else.) Oh, and for the most part, a lot of us call that behavior out when we see it. You may not have put that in your head, but you most certainly didn't get that from talking to a large number of LGBTQ+ people. Again: I didn't call you anything. I haven't called anyone anything. I'm addressing your arguments and your points, and the likelihood of where you pulled those points from.
To your throwaway point: If Ryne and Gaia became a canon couple, for example, there would absolutely be immediate backlash. Less than if it were, say, Aymeric and Estinien, but it would still be quite the kerfuffle. It happens often enough in media.
