Frustrating relative lack of LGBT NPCs in this game

Most every report, study, and/or poll I've seen has LGBT at 4.5 (U.S.) to 6% (various West-European countries). That's not just for homosexuality, that's the full spectrum outside of heterosexuality. Where are you getting 7-10% for homosexuality alone in the West overall from?

Not trying to argue, just never seen the 7-10% figure before and I couldn't find a concrete source on it. Is it just an extension of your statement about populations being afraid to come out, and you adding some percentage onto the confirmed population? Or was there a more recent study I didn't stumble across you can show?
