Frustrating relative lack of LGBT NPCs in this game

For those in the "how to tell you didn't read my post without saying you didn't read my post", here it is. A personal opinion, saying what I would like to see, nothing more, If people saying "hey I'd like this, would be fun" somehow flares up the incel masses, so be it. Enjoy.

Seeing same sex couples around the place, even in quests would be nice, no harm in that, some nice sidequests where we help find suits for two catboys or something, or help dress up to au'ra, just making it completely normal (plus you can M+M and F+F eternal bonding), as long as we don't get some long-ass MSQ where Y'shtola is secretly a lesbian and we gotta go through some weird "make it accepted through Eorzea" stuff, since it already is, would rather prefer to find some place on the FAR right of the world map were we can go punch a bunch of dickheads oppressing stuff instead >.

We should be allowed to have these conversations even though it may be uncomfortable or started by a troll it allows us to work through the issues people may have within the community and learn how one another thinks even though we may not like what we hear the truth is always better than a lie. How the forum started has no bearing on what it is now.

There is already sidequests that have it. We are a hero and friends saving the world. It doesn’t matter who people prefer.

I also dont think Ryne and Gaia were romantic at all. They were normal teenage bestfriends.

I have said numerous times that there is room for both a platonic and romantic interpretation of their relationship (or if you want to use another word, 'headcanon'.) I'm not sure what your point is, or why you want so hard to invalidate a potential LGBT reading of that story.

It does seems many folks default to bi/lesbian when they see 2 close females. Bonds can be more than just sexual. A perfect example would be Fang & Vanille from XIII

There is plenty of creepy crap in Disney movies and the tales they are based on are far worse. There is only pain and suffering in the house of the mouse. Also, people don't aww at a teenage relationships where I'm from they aren't even considered a relationship but more a phase.
