Frustrating relative lack of LGBT NPCs in this game

To you, it doesn't make sense, the game is a 13+. It will have children playing it, and yes, it is worse in many cultures. The children's argument makes complete sense parents don't want corporations to introduce their children to these subjects. It's not complicated. The Flordia senate in the US is going through legislation to deal with Disney on that exact matter, and Disney has torture, rape and death in it, and it's marketed towards children. The middle east, Africa, South America, and the far east also have stricter policies toward sexuality than those other topics.

Does that make it morally right? It doesn't matter. That's the way people react to it. Some cultures in Asia won't even allow you to hold hands or kiss in public. Your standards are not the standard of the majority of people who are deeply religious.

Just because the majority of people react to something in one way doesn't mean it should never be put out there for fear of offending them. Plenty of people find these other subjects offensive and yet games have no problem incorporating them all the time. Saying that parents don't want children exposed to one thing but it's perfectly fine if they're exposed to these others just because for some reason they're not as "bad" is not a good argument.

I love it when one person speaks for an entire group of people.

For real though, bit of a head scratcher to be fine with kids being exposed to violence (especially in a time when mass shootings and race based attacks are on the rise) but not topics regarding self-identity so they can accept and understand everyone for who they are. Definitely going to side eye a bit.

Emet-Selch was technically Bi, he kind of hinted at that in one of his speeches when he says he lived as a mortal. But he was Bi like Freddy was... because well... yah, just remember as Emperor, he set up a theater troop, gave them an airship flying fortress, and told them to enjoy the world. No straight guy would ever do that.

Also besides his sass, and fashion, he actually drops a few hints in his dialog, in both the Japanese and English. Although the English track was a little gayer.

Have gotten an impression that unless the story explicitly revolves around a romantic relationship, then it is probably best to just keep thing ambiguous between the characters.

It reduces the risk of "Forced relationships", minimizes drama and lets the reader fill inn their own interpretation.

"Sired" usually implies the "Act" of "Making" them. Two Men cannot "create" Children of their own. Just choosing my words carefully here to not get a ban or anything.

Just because someone is a gay man, doesn't mean they can't have sex with a woman for the purpose of making kids. I'm a transgender female, only attracted to men, in the 90's I was married to a woman, and we did things married couples do. The fathering of children is not the sole determination of heterosexual cisgender.
