"Unexpected error" crash, clueless as to what to do

Can you try and update the graphics drivers? Additionally, does the game crash if it the only program running?

My drivers are all indeed up to date. It doesn't seem to change much whether or not other programs run alongside the game unfortunately, it crashes regardless.

As for the install location, my client already is installed on my C drive, so unfortunately I cannot try that specific tip.
