Just started ShadowBringers quest did I miss StormBlood?

I am a returning player and never done the expansions so I quested hard through the main story which brought me straight to ShadowBringers. After lots of Googling I found out that I missed the starter quest for Stormblood. I went to Mor Dhona to start the Beyond the Great Wall quest line and it wasn't there. Did Shadowbringers ruin my chance to play Stormblood? What can I do to fix this? I am addicted to the storyline and I need to play Stormblood

You cant start Shadowbringers without doing Stormblood, are you sure you didnt bought an Jump-Potion or did the expensions and just dont remember it anymore?
You also have to finish Heavensward to even do Stormblood so atleast you must have finished one expension.

What I did do a long time ago is purchase a mechanist level 70 from the mogstation but I am positive I didn't do the expansions. I don't even access to Doma. I wonder if purchasing the upgrade messed it up?

I think I figured it out, even though I the credits rolled in Heavensward, I am still technically on Heavensward. I checked my completed quests and found out that I haven't even completed the first quest for Shadowbringer thus not starting Stormblood. I guess that answers it for me.

My response to your first post was going to be basically asking which specific quest you were on. Sometimes people lose track and they might not be working on what they think they are. Once you finish the HW main story(the fight in the Singularity Reactor), the next set of quests do 3 things. They wrap up the HW story, they drop some hints and start setting up the Shadowbringers story, and they set up the beginning of the Stormbringers story(right up to a confrontation on that great wall you mentioned). So you might have even been doing some Shadowbringers things, but storyline wise you're on the bridge from HW to Stormbringers. Worry not, youll get there in due time.
