Is Thancred Waters homosexual?

(SERIOUS) I've been playing this game for a long time now and I've been playing through the main story again for the 3rd time and I just started to notice Thancreds behavior towards certain men such as Alphinaud. Whenever he is around him since the start of their reuniting in heavensward it just feels as if there is a sexual tension between the two something that I NEVER see between any other interaction with him and others. I know his personality is nonchalant and flirty but he seems to go the extra mile on his jokes and conversations with Alphinaud. I would usually ignore it but the thing is that Alphinaud visibly BLUSHES whenever Alphinaud flirts with him. Not in dialogue but in-game emotes you can see Alphinaud blushing as a response towards Thancreds remarks towards Alphinaud. Honestly I was kind of disturbed by it as it never seemed something I would ship but honestly at this point I'm in love with the idea of it and I hate to see them beat around the bush with it (and no its not infatuation). What do you guys think though? If you want to call me bs on this just go back and rewatch the scenes and see the interactions between those two its amazing and beautiful.

Thancred is strait, older cutscenes saw him hitting on chicks and during a 5.2 I believe cutscene, could be done another time, but I remember either urianger ( lol I suck at spelling his name and don't feel like looking it up) or someone else referring to him as a mother hen and he said ugh how bout a father hen.

He's just close friends with his fellow scion members, though I do think he'd go for minfilia in a heartbeat if she was still around like her arr form.

While that is true I theorize that he transitioned to homosexual (or bi at least). I never thought to consider minfilia (forgot about it) but considering his interactions with Alphinaud I think it is VERY possible that he had some sort of love triangle going on hitting on both Alphinuad and Minfilia at once which is something I don't like but polyamorous relationships are one I respect despite my opinion towards

Yeah, their other posts and threads are... bizarre, to say the least. I wish people who insisted on trolling didn't make threads like this one because it just gives people a reason to have a knee jerk reaction to anything relating to the topic.

This. Though... it's complicated.

He took part in raising Ascilia (who later renamed herself Minfillia) from the time her father died, when she was still a young teen, though not so integrally as Ascilia's songstress/dancer unofficial adoptive mother (her name escapes me, atm, but she appears in ARR anyways).

Their ages don't seem that far apart, though, so it certainly borders between an older relative of the same generation or a helpful neighbor and a father-daughter -- or even just a(n emotionally charged) mentor/mentee -- relationship.

There are a number of casual mentions of same sex relationships among NPCs. Nobody major if I recall, but it's a step.
