Level 50 Botanist quest advice?

So there's 4 gear rewards, all BOT only (not usable when other DoL jobs) and all with various levels of Gathering and Perception. Is there any popular wisdom of which of these items is advisable to take? Just whichever adds the most points? Whichever boosts the lowest current stat between Gathering and Perception?

I got to 50 and I can't make this choice then change my mind. Am I eventually going to have much better gear and not care what I picked at 50?

well I think I was worrying too much, there's level 51 items for all 4 slots given as rewards in this quest, that can be used by all DoL (not just one, so only need one of them) and can be bought from a merchant for like 7400 gil. My BOT coasted to 51 waiting for the cedar tree to pop. I'll just get each of the three jobs a hat or something.

Just pick whichever is best for glamour.

I like the gloves and maybe the pants.

Whatever helps starting to collect scrips for Trailblazer gear.

Naturally, you'll always be getting better gear, up until level cap. And gatherers level so fast these days, you'll probably outlevel your gear before you know it.
