Request; We really lack bug-like minions and mounts

So to start off, I’m fascinated by bugs. Insects, arachnids, isopods, slugs, snails, all of the buggy things. In universe, the Vilekin, as it were.

So of course I wanted all the bug mounts and minions, but when I searched up what was in the game, we have so few to choose from. Only one mount from the Vath beast tribe (which I am grinding for), and three minions, two of which are butterflies. Four if you count wind-up Rivana.

This really surprised me since the game has SO many vilekin enemies and gear with bug themes. How have we gone this long without a spider minion?

I just want to request more minions and mounts based off bugs.

Hoo, what I wouldn't give for a spider MOUNT!
I know bugs are pretty under represented in FF in general, but I agree, more would be appreciated.

The only other buggy mounts I can think of would be Omega and the Gobwalker and that's just because they imply buggy. A spider of some sort could be really neat for a Halloween event down the line or even a butterfly! Or creep multiple people out.

It doesn’t need to be a spider (because arachnophobia is a unfortunately pretty common) but a bee, moth, lady bug, snail, things like that would be my jam.

There are so many models in game that could be repurposed for a few mounts, so I’m shocked we haven’t seen these pop up in anything.

One of those rhinoceros beetles would make a good mount if you just stuck a saddle on its midsection.

Scolipede from pokemon is a supreme example why we need more centipedes!
