I had a revelation while doing the rising event this morning, and getting to meet the maker. He's a primal!

Think about it. He made the game and Eorzea so he's 'god' to us.
On certain events or times he shows himself to us.
We play constantly and devote our time and money to him.

We the players summoned Yoshi-P the ultimate Primal.

The ones that are obsessed, or the elitests are his thralls.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Yoshi-P was the very last boss ever, as the last primal you ever have to defeat.

He is the current head of the department nothing more nothing less.

Side note, he did not make the game or Eorzea (i think the name is taken from 1.0 but i'm note sure) he did improve on it.
This would be a terrible idea and show him as a self focused person rather then focusing on a good story for the player.

It was mostly a revelation joke. Not meant to offend him or anything, just thought the matchup kinda worked since he appears before us.

Since a primal doesn't have to actually be a god (Shiva), we just have to see him as one and believe in him lol.

Well, yes. That's always been known. His NPC even existed back in 1.0 and gave out the legacy goobbue mount and all but explicitly thanked players for sticking with the game. These rising events make it even more explicit when he goes all The Matrix on you with those dream sequence things and speaks to you as Yoshi not as the wandering minstrel.
