Housing Reclamation System no fair to players.

Hello SE,
I've been playing FFXIV since 1.0. In recent times I leaving feedback on an unfair system that took my home away. Oct 29th I was injured at work with a Tier 2 Strain on my ACL. 8-10 weeks not being able to move around freely. With some spare time from work I would log on FFXIV. I logged on in December for the holidays. Onm Dec 31st logged in to wish everyone happy new years. I went back to my plot and entered the estate to listen to the music from my Orchestration. That day further in Covid-19 already started affecting people in my state. I also got the new my Grandmother who is now 84 has Lung cancer Stage 4. Doctors said she have a year at the most. Does your Housing reclamation system understand how or what we go through? It does not there needs be steps taken. I lost my home unfairly. That Plot and estate was my escape from reality to ease my pain I could let go and escape to my one safe spot. The system targets personal home users. We have no way to stop it from happening. No one else can help us stop the timer. I received no E-mails giving me any warning on that note. I can't understand why cause someone more pain and suffering that can be avoided. I hope someone in SE has the heart and mind to see this and do the right thing and please return me back to my home. Give me some hope in this time of crisis.

Not sure how else to say it, you're no more important than any other customer that subscribes to this game. What you do or happens in your personal life is of no business to SE, you could be in a coma, homeless, be shot in to space and it wouldn't matter.... unless it effects customers on a greater scale, such as natural disasters and currently the virus pandemic (hence no demo at the moment). Unfortunately it's unlikely your home would be returned, especially not on Balmung of all places where demand for housing is still extremely high. Best you can do is get an Apartment which is yours indefinitely (can't be demolished etc) or share a house with a friend, one they own and can enter regularly but you have some control over things inside and whatnot.

I remember getting an email once when my house was about to demolished, in the end I sold it anyway but definitely was notified about it. Can't really guess why you didn't get one, wrong email perhaps or the SE email is blocked, don't know at all. Though when it comes to this game, homeowners need to be extra vigilant about that kind of stuff to avoid losing any property(s) that they worked for.

The point is automated systems does no justice for the players. Why not look at it another view my work when I lost some family prior they didn't just fire me they cared. Another point to the issue I brought up is the fact I was online in game. Never beyond thirty days. I waited for support for almost a month now no response. I never said I was important then anyone. I said the system is unfair to the personal home owners compared to FC's who have members that can stop it. The fact is I was online and even logged out inside my estate. We are all human and automated system needs to be adjusted. Give options to the players. If something is really wrong in real life like this Covid-19 that Started in Dec into Jan. They need a way to for players to contact them. I will also state players saw me online there's no denying that one bit. Alot of players say E-mail system is not working right. I get some E-mails about updates. I got two from SE one day at the same time but there stamped three hours apart. Balmung is not my home server lodestone little out dated on that note. It's where I began this journey in FF14. I might need to adjust it some more on that note.

by playing the game you agree to all rules and regulations regarding the game. the rules work fine as is. by buying a personal house you agree to the responsibility of keeping said house and since the rules state that only the owner can reset the auto-demolition timer, you must abide by that rule. no exceptions.

I mean, that would be rather difficult as I imagine it belongs to another player now. You can't just ask it to be ripped unfairly from someone who got a house, regardless of your own circumstances. I'm sorry you're going through a lot, and it's a shame you didn't play a little later into the year as the demolition timers were all paused. Sadly, these things happen and if housing really meant that much to you, it's time to focus on getting a new one. New wards coming soon, it's not going to be impossible.

Ty for the for the concern but I logged in each month. That's a fact till about mid march. When things were getting outta hand. In all fairness it should of never went to another player at all. I do have witness of players on my server not Balmung mind you. They saw me in game. The details I cannot say about the what SE may look into on that note. Some time timers do get glitched out during patches players do know this. The system is not perfect. Some may say computers never make mistakes but if that's case how come we have maintance's to fix bugs. Sorry lack of sleep and eating this is not healthy spot to be in. I do say again players saw me in game and in my estate. Is it fair for the system to steal a players home? If that never happened that player would of never be in that spot. I have proof of the wrong doing of the system. Glitches and bugs do happen there's fact in that as well. Again though ty for your words. Did SE even suspend the system when the East Coast US got hit by Hurricane Dorian? I see nothing in the archives of that while hundred of thousands of people were left with out power. The states were hit including Florida. South Carolina, and North Carolina. I will ask why did SE not suspend the system then? At least the three states got impacted by that hurricane in Sept. Usually SE suspends the systems when hurricanes affect the way of life. Like for hurricane Michael back in 2018. Nothing mentioned the states getting hit. Even though the Bahamas took the full blunt force of the CAT 5. Hurricanes are no joke. It's something we live with and try to push forward after the storms impacts. Even now while in hurricane season we watch to see if any come out way so we can get our loved ones out of harms way if needed.
