Good targeting setup for controller healers?

L1 + Up/Down on the dpad cycles through your party List, and L1 + right/left on the dpad cycles through the alliance list. I don't play on controller so I'm just parroting what my controller friend said. If you're unable to find a good targetting system that works well, you'll want to master these shortcuts.

Don't need to hold L1 to cycle through own party, just Up/Down.


Other than that..

For switching enemies, I tend to use R2/L2 + R1/L1. Otherwise, I just hit X to select whatever is closest to in front of me.

If you need to heal an NPC, then just pushing Left/Right on D-Pad with the camera so that it's one of the only things in the screen works.

For targeting allies in another alliance, I used L1 + Left/Right
