Character sitting in jail, no idea why, can't reach a GM, what to do?

Just logged in and my character is sitting in jail, no explanation, nobody around to ask, no response to my report....

Very frustrating. What am I supposed to do? I was going to play with my GF today and instead I'm sitting here staring at a screen waiting for somebody to show up.

Your character and/or account got reported for something that was serious enough to put you there such as agressive harrassment toward another player or RMT activity if your account was phished. Open a ticket in game using the options you have available to let them know you're there.

Well it certainly wasn't the former, I'm very friendly in-game. I've been playing pretty much every day and I have seen no evidence that anyone has been on my account. I submitted a report asking why I'm in jail, and it's been over an hour with no reply.

If you don't wait too long, you can check if someone else accessed your account in the Mogstation. It shows the last 10 times you accessed the account, whether via the mogstation, online store or game. Choose "account information" from the "Square Enix Account Settings" dropdown, and then choose "Login history" from the "Account" dropdown. Note that you don't have to enter your birthdate to view your account information on this second page, there's just no way to directly navigate to the login history page from the Mogstation itself so you just need to get to that page for the menu.

Edit: Also, I just noticed your character name. It's possible that someone reported it or activity related to what it refers to.

Yea I had to change my name that I've had for 3 years. Oh well. Thanks for trying to help, sorted now.
