Constant massive lag spikes, and occasional 90002 disconnects only FFXIV affected

It really is like that, no matter how much we look at our PCs, the problem I do not honestly believe is ours, although I cannot assure it either, but everything is very rare

I just wanted to add Ultros to the list of servers affected right now. Mostly experiencing lag spikes, was unable to connect to the server once.

Traveled to Famfrit and also experienced lag there.

A friend playing on ps4 stated they were not experiencing lag spikes, but the other friends I've spoken to who play on pc are all experiencing lag spikes.

Most content is unplayable currently due to these issues.

In order to make sure it wasn't my ISP (Comcast) I went with the nuclear option and switched my ISP to At&T Fiber. (Was going to do this any ways when the service came to my area), but the constant lag spikes just pushed me faster to that direction. I'm now getting 997mbs download with 916mbs upload and I'm still getting constant lag spikes on Midgardsormr since that hotfix came out.

I have no idea what I can do, but it's making a lot of content very difficult run. Even swapping to using VPN and changing different locations hasn't helped, in fact, it just makes the lag worse.

I have been with these same problems for 5 days and after going crazy looking for solutions today it occurred to me to try something, I don't know if it has really been solved but what I can tell you is that since I have done this the game is perfect again.

It turns out that I play with 2 screens, the secondary one is connected by HDMI and the one I play with is connected by DP. Well, today I have tried to disconnect the second screen and connect the first screen through HDMI instead of DP and all day I have not suffered falls or cuts in the game. I have tried again to put the DP and when I put it I do not suffer cuts of 10 seconds every X time but I do notice that the image of the game goes like jerks, almost imperceptible but they are noticeable if you look at it. I have taken and disconnected the second screen and at the moment I am only with the main one (which annoys me a lot) but at the moment it does not seem to have problems although I really doubt if this is the solution or just the game has given it the whim to give solution suddenly. I will continue to inform you but I leave this information here in case the same thing happens to any of you and you can try this that I did
