    I've come across many causes over the years.

    When you're connected by cable, the micro USB on ps4 and xbo pads can intermittently lose connection because it's a bad type of connector with some wiggle.

    But you've tried wireless and still experienced the issue so it could be a software thing.
    A common one is the Xbox software on Win10, I forget the name of the process, but it keeps adding and removing virtual hard drives (xvd) from your system and making the device manager blink.
    Personally that one isn't affecting me much lately so a Windows update may have alleviated that.

    If that's not it then it may be something particular to your setup like a faulty device or software conflict like an input manager / audio mixer software not playing nice. So it might require a cleanout and disconnecting devices one by one to test.

    Yeah, it's a brand new cables, solid click.
    I've unplugged everything and device manager still blink.
    My windows Update is up to date. From what I understand, the issue is from FFXIV's end.
