Kay now that my coping snark is out of the way... I have multiple cases of very much variety of different types of crashes since I have come back to ff14, I had no trouble with ShB on launch, I'd say last time I was on was hades ex was introduced? I have made zero changes since I last played before this patch. Have tried dx9, since dx11 is instant hard crash to desktop, but to no avail. Have graphics settings set to potato mode, fps locked at 60 fps, sound muted and still crashes, now refuses to launch now after the last crash.(It is stuck in an eternal not responding black screen as I am typing this right now)
I shall now link most of the crashes I have screenshotted, note the ones without error reports were instant to desktop crashes.













As you can see the error reports are all unique, not one time where they were the same error, which leads me to believe this might not be a me issue, but an issue outside of my control.

EDIT: and as of me adding this, the game is still in not responding which it has been like this for over a half hour now.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs
3) Remove any mods or injectors from the game or system
4) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
5) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
6) Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card
7) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything

All have been done, it's vanilla game, I don't really overclock, don't use peripheries, drivers are up to date, I've done all disable fullscreen and the like. Heck, I have the game running in potato settings, all graphics settings set to their lowest and least taxing setting. Literally the only time this has become an issue is just recently, and seems I'm not the only one suffering these problems, and that it's been nabbing more and more people since the launch of ShB.
