TRUST is a feature, but if we're comparing to HW's flying and SB's swimming/diving, then the ShB's equivalent should be world visit.

I can't say I follow your logic on this; world visit was added well into Stormblood and before Shadowbringers. While "visiting another world" may sound like it's in the same vein as a traveling feature, like flying and swimming, it's more of a social feature. Also, flying, swimming(+diving), and TRUSTS are unlocked by playing the MSQ.

Healing revamp/changes/burn-to-the-ground-and-start-over would the the first thing.

Then reconsidering the whole patch design actually. If I had to summarize 5.X cycle so far, I'd say "great MSQ" and "lackluster patch content".
Spicing up the difficulty of the overall game wouldn't hurt too.

Yes, there are differences with world visit. (And the reason why world visit was unlocked before Shadowbringers was to test it during the "lull" before an expansion release.)

But, like flying and swimming, world visit is a "transportation" feature that is realized by our character in Shadowbringers (in the form of shard hopping between the Source and the First during the MSQ), just like our character realized flying in Heavensward and swimming/diving in Stormblood.

TRUST is way more unrelated a feature from flying/swimming.

I am wondering how they are going to top Shadowbringers. I was disappointed with Stormblood i just did not enjoy it as much as the latest expansion.

I think they need to give the character creation a massive overhaul and see if they can come up with another great story.

Add to the trust system I enjoy my own company sometimes.

PLD/WHM maybe can get more healing spells while those subbing /BLM will grant nuking spells.

Half does seem like it'd not be good for next expansion, since the first capstone is usually what ties them together and at 90, ypu'd be 5 levels off from that. Plus there might be button bloat issues.
