Iosefka's Nexus <LAZY> - Zodiark server, Light DC
https://www.lazyfc.com
The long-awaited Viera and Hrothgar updates.
My wish list....
Cross server (per data centre) market board
Expanded inventory
Ability to mail alts on the same service account
Trusts in pre-ShB dungeons (maybe?) with generic NPC’s so as to not break the “story”
Naval combat in the open ocean , Southern Seas perhaps, like Archeage, with crafters doing the shipbuilding. It can be PvP or PVE.
That sounds awesome! I support this idea!
I heard that they had plans for this in 1.0. But like a lot of ideas, particularly of the sandbox or open world kind, were scrapped in favor of making A Realm Reborn a themepark. :<
I really hope they bring back some of these ideas, though.
Honestly, I think ArcheAge would have been very successful, were it not Trion and the payment model of the game. There was a lot of hype and excitement for the game. There's been a lot of hype and excitement for any sandbox online world, until unfortunate payment models surface. Black Desert Online is surprisingly successful, despite these elements. Because of the simple presence of sandbox elements.
I really think it would be great for Final Fantasy XIV to take inspiration and learn from ArcheAge.
Obviously after sea and sky we go to spaaaaaaaace
I expected swimming to have more to it in SB tbh especially since Othard has the largest ocean/sea based map in-game.
If they ever implement sea/sky sailing archeage and BDO are great examples as mentioned by Hycinthus above. Maybe have OW bosses in the sea (in the form of FATEs maybe?) that you can use abilities/boat skills on (kraken in Hullbreaker for example) or fighting sky pirates for treasure on uncharted sky isles (you are an adventurer after all) that might even be something to use company airships on? Who knows, I'm spitballing afterball
