I never understood why they felt the need to force first-time buyers into this horrific cycle of waiting around a timer with no hope and everyone else can just relocate to new wards no questions asked.

I am thrilled they are allowing the new plots to be open to anyone with the gil ready to go. While I expect it to be a mad dash, fight to the death, as someone who transferred data centers and has a medium's worth of housing furnishings taking up all my retainer inventory space, I have a better chance of getting one now than before and NEED it otherwise I am going to have to buy like five apartments.

May the odds forever be in your favor. I guess I will aim for Goblet since everyone hates it (though I assume everyone will have the same idea).

I appreciate the new housing plots, but they would not need to add them in the first place if they would re-enable housing demolition. That would solve their problems with housing. End the practice of disabling housing demolition.

They also could enforce the limitation on players and FCs before the limitation came in place. Seeing many plots taken by the same FC is quite discouraging.

It was quite nice to see that SE changed their stance on how wards are released when they saw where the demands for housing was coming from.

It was pretty bleak seeing people feel pressured to leave their FCs to create new ones where they are the sole member, just so they could get a house.

Like it's important that real functioning FCs have access to housing too, but not like that. This seems more fair.

From the time the server is up, you will have less than a minute to secure the plot you WANT, and a couple minutes more to possibly get a second pick in that same ward.

Goblet larges on coeurl were gone by 5:03 am and mediums by 5:05, and thats with it being relocate / FC only, and only because the login queue was batching people in waves.

Don't understand why they don't just completely overhaul the entire system instead of applying band-aid after band-aid attempting to appease people. The current system is horrendous.

I like the current system.
I wouldn't want a instance housing.
Can't get a house, just get an apartment and wait until you can snag one.
