Yeah good idea, if they make new hairstyles and new colours (no that doesn't mean just 1 SE...).
Otherwise, why bother?

It's on the 2.0 PDF of upcoming changes they have planned. Character Creation is getting an entire revamp, we not only get new races but we will have new hairstyles and other options(the outline says exactly: Creation of more character customization options (eg. haistyles). This is why we are all getting one free character redo. And then we're getting a barber shop for hair.

So for a long time, even while playing FFXI I had the dream of being able to change my hair color/style. I also think being able to change your name (even is just once per character creation). My reason for these ideas are simple... Like many of you I played FFXI for a few years and wouldn't it be nice to have been able to change things up after awhile? What does everyone think?

Changing appearance by way of hair style/color is fine. In fact I would love to see that added to the game. Even allow things like scar/tattoo & eye color changes as well.

As for the name. I'm not too keen on changing that up. Your name is who YOU are. I've dealt with some very nasty unkind people in past games. I don't want those people to shed their past indecencies as easily as changing a name. There are some things that are just unforgivable, such as threats, racism & vile misconduct.

I'm to lazy to look it up, but I'm pretty sure 98% sure that they are going to make a "barber" in the game.
