I don't know for certain. It just seems likely considering how the math would work out and based on my own experience helping friends look for houses after the wards filled up last year. Once the wards filled, I was lucky to see one or two houses a week (though there were no doubt some I missed). Certainly I wasn't seeing large enough numbers that would add up to thousands.

Could be things are different on other worlds but I doubt it.

Thats close to what ive seen on my server when helping friends look for houses. It wasnt too uncommon to see 3 or 4 houses open in a week(usually at least 1 a week), but it was very rare to see 2 or more open at the same time. That might add up to one or two hundred houses over the course of a year, but no where near 1000. Adding 3 more wards is an order or two of magnitude more houses becoming available then demo provides.
