Re-enable Housing Demolition!

All these accusations that it's just for my greed. I already have a house. I'm just annoyed by the system, and the fact that my friends can't get houses. But feel free to continue judging me for being unhappy with how things are.

I'm annoyed by the system too and I also have a house. I really know how this feels. But this doesn't make what you're asking for any better. It's still kicking people while they're down.

The new wards that are coming are intended for players who were hoping to get houses from demolition. It's not as if homeless players are completely left without options. SE are not ignoring these people, but they don't want to ignore the plight of others to benefit another group. Not to mention what a horrendous PR move it would be to end demolition sooner than they ended it before for much more localised disasters that affected a significantly smaller amount of people than Covid.

May as well accept that it will never be resumed then. Weather is just going to keep getting worse and worse, because of global warming. They need to find some other way to help those affected by natural disasters, instead of turning off auto-demo.
