Disabling housing demolition is more harmful than helpful. It's a nice sentiment, but they should never have adopted the practice in the first place.
That's true. But it's EXTREMELY frustrating not to be able to buy a house. While I can understand the frustration of not being able to get a house if you want one, this situation was just as bad on high pop worlds before COVID as it is now. It's quite a stretch to imply that the COVID changes have really been the cause of the issue, and it's also a pretty major exaggeration to imply that you considering leaving because of the inability to find a house is tantamount to there being some sort of large exodus of players.
Have you been playing the game for 5yrs and not yet been able to buy a house after all this time? Serious question though, because there have been quite a few opportunities in the past few years to get one so...

Bye OP, more plot for those who stay.
Dead Server? is there any really? There are only 5040 housing plots per server or 40,320 plots per NA Data Center. The need will always outweigh the supply, as long as they keep to the current design plan, say there are 100k players in NA, which means they need to more than double the available housing.

The demo timer is indeed a good practice. When it is on, you always see plots opening up. Not 100's but enough for people to try to get a plot.
I will say this. It's going to be a shit show when they open up the new wards and I guarantee people will be back complaining about housing and how unfair the free for all was when they don't get their cottage, house, or mansion.

That's really interesting. Any chance you could post a few more angles to try and give a better picture of what's going on? Also, what size of house is that?
