My main character is stuck in infinite loading screen

If it is only happening with this one character, you may want to try deleting the locally-saved data folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). Make sure to create a backup of this so you can replace it if it doesn't solve the issue.

Already tried that, to same result, infinite loading screen, as having no problem on my alt, I assume must somehow be stuck on the server side or in an transistion or the likes, it is a perculiar situation as it is.

An Update, I tried logging in via my laptop... and got 'Final Fantasy 14 error code 17, on my laptop I also tried logging in on my alt, had no problems doing such either.
