Anyone switched from viera back to their original race

I did because of the limited customization. Which is a shame. I really love the Viera otherwise.

I never switched to Viera because they're too supermodel-y and I don't think I'd feel like myself in that kind of body.

I very much enjoy the race and the high quality facial textures but after a year of nothing, the lack of customization when compared to every other race (Except for Hrothgar) just got me to change back.

I did. Tried it like a few days, had it for a half year since i stopped playing. When i came back i changed it off. It just confirmed my tastes, i don't like very tall girls

I suppose the resting bitch face bunny is kind of fun to try out but it sorta gets old quick and with no new hairstyles and limited hat options, it gets put on the backburner.

I have a fantasia problem and so I've swapped a few times to Viera over the year. Miqo'te will always just feel like "me", with Lala as a very close second, and so while it's fun to try other races, I do always switch back eventually.

Now, specifically regarding Viera - I find Viera harder for me to dress to my liking. And while I appreciate the subtlety to their emotes/personalities, I prefer something more animated and lively in the long-run.

I'm kind of ashamed to admit this but I have a fantasia problem. I've spent a lot of money on it and I've changed this character's race like four or five times. But ultimately I went back to her original look, which is a Highlander. The reason is kind of funny. I guess this could kind of be considered a spoiler so I'll hide it.

During the latest dungeon when you are fighting all those WoLs from different shards, they all look so badass. Some are even bosses. And I thought, these Warriors of Light are now facing off against the champion of the Source, the 14th member of the Convocation, and slayer of the Unsundered. And look at us. Running around half naked with basically our pajamas on.

So, it was back to Highlander for good.

I ran 5.3 as my Lala, and it felt so wrong. lol. I don't RP in any way, and I don't typically get bothered by immersion concerns, but something about that ridiculous potato trying to act all serious and tough did not work for me.

I played throught the 5.0 as a Viera and I loved most of it. I love the height, the built and the "resting bitch" face. I loved to look mature without the strange neck of an Elezen or the mass of muscles from a Roe. I would have been fine with the lack of hats too..but the lack of hairstyles just made me switch back..I dont change it up daily with my Au Ra but its nice to be able to do that if I want it..and with the Viera I had one hairstyle I liked..and that was too low..
