Yeah I can't justify paying $35 for this. I can buy some really good full games on steam for this price or even less and I don't need to keep paying monthly to use those games.

These mounts shouldn't be over $15 or $20 tops for multiplayer mounts.

The dollar is falling

Since the beginning of the month, the dollar has lost 4.9% against the euro, following a bet that the European Union economy will outperform the U.S. economy. The greenback, in the same period, has fallen 2.5% against the yen; 6.4% versus the Swedish krona and 4% to the New Zealand dollar. In emerging markets, the Brazilian real has risen more than 6%, and the Mexican peso is up 4.9 % against the dollar. Price seems fine to me, it's a cosmetic mount that has no effect or advantage on gameplay. It doesn't take anything from anybody who doesn't buy it, so there's not really any reason to be upset.
Like all new items on the store you can think of it as donating some money to help your favorite MMO keep going strong, while getting a cool cosmetic item in the process.

I mean technically we do have confirmation that the Mogstation sales go directly back into the game and are the only source of revenue that does so. Subscriptions and expansion sales are filtered back to SE proper before being divided across multiple projects, FF14 included. So they're not technically wrong in the slightest.

Now whether or not you feel that a $35 mount is WORTH it to buy or ethically okay to even sell in the first place is another matter entirely. Personally it and most of the Mogstation items are too pricey for me, so I'll likely wait for another sale before even considering it.

First time reading this and it seems to me one of the most horrendous things and more seeing the current situation with the content of the game, a joke.

Well you don't really need to go calling people stupid because they don't agree with you. But yeah, the money paid on the store does go to back to the game.

Oh but it does, you'd be shocked to know how much the overhead on an MMORPG like this is. The box fee and subs cover the barest amount of the game. The store items, especially the fantasia cover all the extras.
