I'm not your buddy, guy.
You are well aware of how far people will go to get what they want the way they want it on these forums so you can drop the passive aggressive pot shot.
Honestly these cash shop items could be used so much better...just take the big mounts..use them inbetween patches to keep people subbed by giving them out if you sub a certain amount of time in that period (thus even if people dont play they have payed you the money). This will in turn also mean that those that do continue to pay you money (which keeps the game alive..) get something out of it..(taking away the veteran rewards and never truly giving us something back in return is just awful)
And instead of the other and only such reward that we got like that they could put it into the mog station afterwards for everyone to buy if they did not want or could sub at that time..there win win..those who play the game will get their reward and those who did not at the time still can pay the money.

I would support that, I mean I think most people would of course but I mean extra in the sense that I generally think SE should avoid using content too inspired from within the game for their mog shop. Clearly Sleipnir being the worst offender but even our carriage is obviously the intro scene simplified so it doesn't kill people's frames. Said it a few times but just want to be clear so I'm not accused, I'm not frothing mad, but it is a bit like 'aww, that seems like it could have logically and interestingly be made available in the game!'. (Hence why I encourage them to look at their other games, where of course an event would be neat but if they made Chocolina outfit on the mogshop I'd make zero complaints lol).Honestly these cash shop items could be used so much better...just take the big mounts..use them inbetween patches to keep people subbed by giving them out if you sub a certain amount of time in that period (thus even if people dont play they have payed you the money). I still think their veteran system could use a tune up, and I know others have said that in this thread too, a reward like that occasionally would be cool. So going back to what I meant when I said support, I mean that I'd support, just like I support seasonals, in the sense that they're for and from within the game but then later made available on the shop. Carriage made free first and then in the shop, oh okay. Carriage straight to the shop? Aww.. that felt like it should have been in the game.
For the veteran reward I kind of still want to see a whole mognet system added where you can bribe moogles with kupo nut conditioner, lowering or entirely discounting items (based on how much you trade), I feel the imagery and features would be really nice. Being able to experience the shop a bit more 'immersively' and hands on (testing things out in the set pieces), being able to touch the shop with an in game currency, moogles are cute lol, more content (postmaster quests, etc). Of course the rate of conditioner can be well calculated so it's neither useless nor makes the store useless.
I do not know people well enough to be confident to SE that people would no longer try to buy things and just 'wait it off' till they get enough from their sub, but I want to say it would only help the image of the shop and potentially either balance out or increase sales since people would visit more often. Like it might take a whole year worth of conditioner, year and a half maybe, to buy just one mount flat out, but what you could do is take that and apply it to discount an item regularly. So you might get like 30% off if you used all your conditioner for 3-6 months. $35 too expensive? Get your veteran moogle rewards and subsidize it. And if you're a whale then you ran out of conditioner the second you earned it and have bought everything on the store, most of it full price, anyways. Simultaneously no longer do they need to offer some items in one system and one in another (all the current veteran rewards are moved over to the mogshop), perhaps they can offer special veteran prices for very specific items- like they might sell the ribbon for 5$ but it'd only take 1 kupo nut conditioner to purchase out right (the ratio of value being non-standard because it's specially designed to be a reward).
If they want to keep the achievement point purchasing system they can put some consumables in there and that's that, like buying yourself some fancy dyes- in this way they never need to worry about player spending all their points on something silly and then being kind of out of luck when they add an expensive achievement point mount or whatever.
Wouldn't suggest it's easy or ' no worries 'since we're talking about potentially a lot of money if the system some how made people complacent and more 'patient', but I don't think it would, or at least hope it wouldn't, and would just better their image and increase purchases for those who warmed up and simplify and butter the process for those who would normally have never done so. Plus I think the in game market part of it flowing through the mognet concept, and adding content to the mognet (postmasters), would be cute. Smuggle myself a whale out while the big moogle boss isn't looking after ever so lightly caressing a staff moogle's whiskers and firmly rubbing the finest kupo conditioner into their supple ruffles...

For those who are saying the outfits are ugly - they are based on traditional Alpine costumes. We've gotten so many costumes from China, Korea, and Japan over the years that I find it honestly refreshing we're getting something a little bit different this time.
When I was a little kid I'd put on my mother's dirndl and feel all dressed up.

Maybe if you switched to lalafell.
Yeah, still ugly. Friend of mine told me on discord he bought it for the hat, for his bard. We have the outfit now, the /toast emote, the /lalihop emote, now we just need a few beer recipes and it'll be perfect

Oh look, so predictable, the trolls have come out to play (gasp! shocking!). Where's the sarcasm font?! Someone needs to invent this...
