Granted, it's doing her a mercy at that point and likely one she ended up wishing she could've received sooner like her sister, but it's still unfortunate they never managed to find a way to reverse the transformations even with the aid of magi as skilled as the Nu Mou.

I know right, that was rather touching as to the circumstances that led to Ardbert gave Seto that medallion the player retrieved from the lake in Il Mheg.

And was I the only one who immediately thought of Vauthry when Seto's old abusive master was mentioned? (I know it wasn't, but the description definetely made me think of him).

I liked that they took a line from the game, about how Ardbert had given Seto the medallion, but expanded it to include the rest of the party. Nothing drastic was revealed, but it was a nice vignette.


Side notes:

I love any excuse for stories to go back to Ahm Araeng. I especially liked that they built the non-ruined version for the cutscene with the approaching Flood of Light, so I reckon they could do more with it.


Also, I really enjoy the little screenshots they put together for these stories!

I was just wondering yesterday where he was from.

I question if the Cieldalaes are close enough to count as "Kholusia's seas". It might just be some of those islands you can see in the distance from the beach.

The location is also a good reason for why Ardbert was so honest, kindhearted, and naive. If you grew up in a small village with a close knit group of people that far from civilization, you'd suspect everybody was that nice, honest, and good.
