Were any plans to expand Viera to use other hairstyles announced?

Topic says it all. I'm curious if anyone announced anything in any news or letters or stuff. Sucks new styles keep coming out and Viera get nothing. Already annoying we get few helmets. Are the ears really THAT big of a problem?

I'm surprised they don't get Fran's hairstyle. Just similar-ish ones. If they didn't want Fran lookalikes running around then that's silly we already have the ability to make a number of existing FF characters (Cloud/Lightning/Snow)

They have a thing against extremely long hair in general, but it's also possible it just wouldn't look too great in action.

I just hope they don't make a lot of hair with the black hair ornaments/helm, they look nice but they don't really go well with anything except the racial armor.

3D modelling long hair often causes it to clip with a lot of objects or it doesn't move quite right with the model in some animations. So there is a tendency to try to avoid it. I think they should just allow the players to have clipping hair if they want.

The pony tail is really, really close to it already. Change the side frills and add a helm and it's basically Fran's hair.
