Question about GC specific items

Do the restrictions on equipping GC specific items carry over to glamming? For instance, if I swap from Mael to Flames, level up, obtain some flames items, can I use them for glam even if I swap back to Mael?

I am fairly sure the restrictions apply to glamours as well.

The restrictions apply to glamour, yeah. You can't glam gear from a different GC, or use their chocobo barding or PvP horse.

If you have glamour on a piece of gear, switch GC, if you go to equip that again or use that glam plate it just won't cast and assume its base appearances instead.
