Please Fix BLM

I see i never knew they were designed to be bad. May i ask why? Because a skill like Shukuchi feels like it needs a macro to work properly. I can't even imagine a reason why devs would intentionally make skills like these that clearly need macros to function properly, remain broken and not fix them.

They designed the macros to be bad to prevent partial automation of the gameplay.
You can circumvent some of the drawbacks like the missing of the queing of skills by repetition of the /ac command and targeting commands but it's mostly only useful for ground placing or to sidetarget partymembers, enough to make aether manipulation very useful, you only need one macro for every potential party member you can target for that.

A: BLM is basically in a perfect spot. It has high skill ceiling because you gotta be able to position properly, but it's also like the strongest DPS class in the game, roughly tied with Samurai. It certainly doesn't need buffing right now.

I'm leveling BLM now and while I can't comment on the issues you have talked about I think the class sucks. It feels horrible. The most unpleasant dps class there is.

SMN gets ruin II and egi abilities, but even proc'ing fire III feels terrible on BLM because you have to cancel the cast of fire I you started to use it.

The class is a pile of jank.

Well the leveling experience is certainly jank, that IS a flaw I'll grant that BLM has. The actual rotation doesn't set in til lvl 60, at which point it stops being about fishing for Fire 3 procs.
