What gamemodes would you like to see in XIV in future like CTF, RvR modes ECT.
Hold the flag, in almost any variant?
Tavern Brawl --> Get the flag from the center after it unlocks, accruing points each second it's in your team's possession. Kill the flagbearer and take it and then hold onto it as long as you can before being slain in turn. First to X points, or highest points after Y minutes, wins.
Benighted Rounds --> Same as above, but it resets to center after 6 minutes or so, possibly accelerating as the match goes on or increasingly limiting the maximum possession time based on points accrued thus far as a catch-up + pacing mechanic.
Lordling for a Day --> Same as above, but now resetting as soon as it's taken. Longer pre-unlock period, usually with more useful defensible geography at center and each side, often with further environmental features to eventually aid an assault.
Throwing own my opinion in, Siege PvP modes are always fun to watch+play but I can see struggles with it becoming PvDoor with alot of ZvZ
Open world time based pvp allowances. Something akin to the above mentioned with siege pvp but only allowable during designated times of the day.
I'd like to see any variety of two team pvp for rival wings that's NOT moba style(CTF, death match, etc). Also a seige pvp but for FCs. Also I think a mode like stealing creation ,from Runescape, for FCs could work really well. It'd be dope and combine DOL/DoH with combat elements.

Yeah. Coming as a fan of Frontline, I get why people don't like it, and I wish they had some team v team mode that isn't a giant mess like Rival Wings. Rather they do something boring like Payload or CTF. Sometimes you just want comfort food. They have all the wild and crazy gameplay modes... I'd like a foundation that included some staples from other MMOs or just multiplayer games in general.
Traditional Modes like CTF with power ups and whatnot that can be picked up to tilt the odds like Warsong Gulch in WoW would be nice. 10v10, 12v12 or some other somewhat low number too. None of this 24v24v24 72player crap.
Possibly even a mode that's a mashup of Rival Wings and Frontlines where teams compete over resource nodes and can also summon giant war machines. Also maybe if one of each mech were on the field, pilots would have the option of combining into a giant, team colored, Perfect Alexander. I dunno, could be neat.

Too much time in Ishgard, but I have a couple of ideas. They're not actual modes, but it could be turned into one like what happened when Onsal was produced:
Type of Quest: Dragonsong MSQ
Name of Quest: A Spectacle For The Ages
Definitely some similarity to the feast as far as objectives are concerned. I'm not exactly sure how wise it would be to try and implement while some is asking for the 8v8 to come back.

I couldn't get the actual pictures of what it looks like since I could not redo or take a look at the quest entirely. So I guess the landscape is just going to have to do since that's where the quest took place. Anyways, the place here could be used for a simple objective game whether the same goal exist or it gets turned into a capture the flag mode.

No matter what the next map is the map itself needs to have smaller player requirements, not as small as how it is in the feast, but definitely not as big as frontlines currently is. If no new ideas are taken then I would personally recommend resurrecting the 8v8 feast (I badly want 24 man frontlines to come back, but as of right now I don't see any hope of that happening.).

I dont like moving around lmao so a big map is boring If no new ideas are taken then I would personally recommend resurrecting the Jalinv99 feast (I badly want 24 man feast to come back cuz I dont like moving and just want to afk for exp, but as of right now I don't see any hope of that happening.).
