i hate to fish with the rotating balls in zones that i dont need them in. is there a way to turn it back to how it used to be?

Especially now when it automatically activates all the time - what is even the point of a visual indicator?
I am assuming that the visual indicator is there for other players so they know to ignore you when it comes to mobs around being pulled by you. I doubt anyone really wants it put back to the old way as that would mean sneak is painfully slow and so rather unfair on those DoL who actually do need to use it.
You can just toggle sneak off you know as well when it auto activates.
i have to agree. You can turn it off. Personally, I find the rotating spheres comforting, knowing I'm not going to have to worry about aggro.
It annoys the poo out of me as well, be it fishing, mining, or botanisterising... Yes i can turn it off but the issue is WHEN i turn it off i WANT IT TO STAY OFF!! Going from zone to zone to zone to zone having to turn it off EVERY SINGLE TIME is annoying as all crap!! I understand that the old Sneak was slow and people didnt like it. Ok so just make it what it is now but NOT AUTOMATICALLY every single time i change zone. I want it off i dont need to on and in the very very few cases where i do need it on b/c a mob is practically right ontop of my node I will turn it on myself. There is zero reason to make it an automatic thing the way it is now.
Having to turn it back on after every time I had passed through a city or switched classes was annoying, too.It annoys the poo out of me as well, be it fishing, mining, or botanisterising... There was every reason to make it automatic - players were getting annoyed by it frequently being turned off when there was no reason for it to be off.
This isn't a fight that you'll win when you're part of the very small minority that wants Sneak always off when the vast majority would prefer to have it always on.
It would be nice if SE just changed it back to the faded appearance instance of having those those balls floating around, though. That was an unnecessary change.
Per usual they force it on people instead of just making it an option.
Oh well I have it on a hotkey on my mouse.
The faded appearance would be even more stupid when it is always on.Having to turn it back on after every time I had passed through a city or switched classes was annoying, too.

And it should be always on and do it automatically. But when it is always on, and turns on automatically, for what do we need the visual indicator?
The skill works perfectly fine, it is just ugly.
Why would the faded appearance be even more stupid? The balls are worse because they scream "Here I am!!!!!" when you're supposed to be avoiding detection.
The visual indicator has been for the benefit of other players as much as for ourselves. If I'm doing quests or leves and see someone in Sneak, I know to avoid dragging monsters with a cleave/large AoE toward that player since they're not in a combat job, have reduced HP and will not be able to move out of the way quickly if they start interacting with a node.
I never had a problem seeing other players with the old faded appearance. Did you?
