Hey, I like having a balance. I have manathirst, cure potency, mnd, piety, etc. on my gear. Manathirst is at a point where its up to anyone to individually decide what they want with their gear, instead of being the rule.

How do you have piety materia as a whm?

Some people can't afford the more desireable materia, so they start with the cheap stuff.
Who cares if items in the game are worthless? Not you guys, that's for sure. You all voted for level cap increases every what, 6 months once the game takes off? Level cap increase = useless gear, so i'm not sure why youre all complaining about this now. Get over it. Useless materia, that's just the way it is. Just play the game, stop whining.

yes everyone should stop complaining in the materia reform thread that the reps asked for feedback about. Please, if you cant tell them how perfect everything is don't comment at all. Some people can't afford the more desireable materia, so they start with the cheap stuff.

I still believe they should make gear with sockets and allow us to remove materia (via the goblin obviously) and replace it with a new one (via a crafter obviously) with no stupid penalty.
I think its quite lazy of the dev team to not itemise gear correctly and leave it in the hands of the player.
Allowing easier switching out of materia would be so much better for trying different builds and stat set ups also.
