Inventory -> Find Item -> Open Sub-Menu -> Choose Convert to Materia -> Choose Confirm

Umm... if you can navigate through all those menus by accident..... I think there is a different problem here ^.^;;

i think his point was more like why would you materia it otherwise LOL, u seemed to have missed that :P
