Getting my first apartment!

While I personally don't have an apartment or can help with our queries of styling an apartment in a pleasing fashion. I feel like I have to say this.

Thank you for using the Apartment System as a (temporary) alternative to fighting for a housing plot in the current climate. While everyone knows just how touch-and-go it is with current events spiraling to and fro, it is rather pleasing to see someone actually take the initiative and use the systems offered to them.

If only others were as clear-headed as you, OP. Then maybe things wouldn't be as bad!

Seconding this, apartments/FC rooms in general are so underappreciated. Don't let the 100 item count limit scare you away, you can still do a lot of amazing stuff in it. Please show them more love.

IMO I love apartments,the only thing I would say is that they could add a small soil patch for gardening and then it would be perfect for me ( I just want to get the Mandragora royal family lol). They are cheaper, easier to acquire, and no time limit on them (to my knowledge anyway please correct me if I am wrong). This is just my opinion, but houses are not worth it when it gets so cut throat to buy a plot, and people have enough stress in real life.
Nothing against houses I just don't want to deal with the stress of trying to get one.

Check the marketboard for the seeds, sometimes you can find them fairly cheap. Then you can grow the seeds in flowerpots in your apartment/FC room.

Or if you have a friend with a house who's not using their garden, ask to be added as a tenant so you can grow there.
