I think mine will be similar to how I rank the overall stories of each expansion:

1) The first half 3.0 (HW)

2) From the last visit to Eulmore to the end of 5.0

3) The Doma sections of 4.0 (SB)

4) ARR 2.2 - 2.55

5) The rest of 5.0

6) The SB patch series (4.1 - 4.55)

7) The ShB patch series so far (5.1 - 5.3)

8) ARR 2.0

9) The Ala Mhigo story sections of 4.0 (SB)

10) The HW patch series (3.1 - 3.5)

11) ARR 2.1

TBH Y'shtola has cheated death three times at this point, but the Stormblood instance was less severe than the other two. The ShB fake-out death actually annoyed the heck out of me and is part of the reason I'm not a huge fan of ShB. They should have let her be "dead" for more than 5 minutes to give that entire bit any emotion weight.

Lalas at the top everyone else, f tier

I like almost all lalas related to story. Did not like Papalimo, his voice was bad for the part, and I also just didn't like him. Maybe it was need to be around Hyurs or something. If you notice there's a lot of Hyurs. Or Garlemaldiansa;sdlfjasd;lkf.

Oh, Seto was cool, probably legit the only Shadowbringers character I liked.

Going to have to say like all Lala characters, Lolorito also.

There are lots more I'd put in the trash garbage bin, but they were absent from survey. Honestly felt like ShB was the worst expansion, in all ways, pvp "updates", class "balancing", lore, story, characters. Had some good music, but equally displeased with some of the music so gonna say these points cancel each other out. Also they said Dwarves are a "Beast tribe". That's racist.

Unpopular opinion, but I actually really like murder husband (Zenos), sure he doesn't have a compelling backstory, but I think his simple motive of fighting strong opponents is compelling enough of a motive if you ask me. I mean why do we grind dungeons for tomes? Or max out jobs? Or do savage content? Obviously to become more powerful.

So what's the point of power without someone to challenge you? I'm sure that if the game was designed so that you one shot every boss with 1 gcd, it would be extremely boring, so why would you not seek out a strong opponent?
