Nobody cares. Is it? No one can even see you own a house.
There are many, many threads on these forums alone that would suggest people do care.
I mean you have, it's just all those people that go into the request threads insisting that the current system is working fine.
I'm not saying their reasoning is in any way valid, but those demands do exist.
Edit: Oops broke my promise to myself and now I have to do the disclaimer.
Obvious bait thread.

Or you know, They could just not buy plots they don't intend to use so there is more for those that DO want a house.
Crazy how that works.
The housing situation would get even worse in this sort of situation, since now people would be encouraged to buy out as many wards worth of plots as they can get their grubby paws on because they can turn a big profit just renting to those who would have owned it outright themselves, had someone else not bought it with the intent to letting someone else "borrow" it for a fee.
I thought you could already make someone a tenant?
I've never seen anyone say the system is fine. Ever.I mean you have, it's just all those people that go into the request threads insisting that the current system is working fine.

The solution to not having enough homes for players isn't to give players an excuse to hold even more properties hostage. You start this and everyone will just want to grab a home to use it to try to make money- it just makes the system even more garbage for everyone who just wants to have a house to enjoy.
