"jumpscare" it was predictable af and a bit lame imo. but i play a lot of horror inspired games so maybe thats why i just sighed about it.
also, it is rated T which includes suggestive material and mild violence from time to time. There is your trigger warning. rated T for trigger warning.

I like that this game is willing to realistically display human behaviour in all its ugliness, its one of the major points of the game, humans ARE the monsters that inhibit Eorzea sometime. Look at Doma and that woman that sold out her own people for power, humans can equally be the monsters and the game understands and really explores human behaviour. I think its separates out people who are willing to look in a mirror and see the darkness of the human soul as well as the good and the people that arn't. I have severe anxiety, learning difficulties and am an abuse survivor and I feel that trigger warnings would negative impact the enjoyment of the story and devalue the "shock" value and the point the story is willing to make.
Thread's over a year old, but i just wanted to pop in and say.
There's a big trigger warning on every single game you buy. It's called the ESRB rating.
I can support the OP's plea on one condition - that the trigger warnings are a toggle the player can choose to turn off with it made clear from the beginning of the game this toggle exists and give the player a chance to choose their preference before continuing the game.
I prefer no warnings as scenes like Titania or Edda's while spine-chilling, have more impact when you don't know they are coming. And I'm somebody who appreciates a good chill down my spine and moments of terror. So I don't want those warnings. BUT, I love this story enough that I want others to be able to experience it. And if things need to be toned down for them to enjoy it with me, then let them have that toggle.
Satisfactory has toggles for Arachnophobes and a couple other phobias and it works quite well for them. Honestly, this is 2021 - comfort options should be standard now.

Eh, nope.![]()

@MilitarVet123 you do know what the game is rated at right? That's all the warning you should ever need.
