Best part is such a system could be entirely optional. A system designed to warn people with PTSD to certain things could simply be part of disability assistance. It doesn't have to be for every player and I think that's where a lot of people in this thread are missing the point of.

Our brains don't choose to go into trauma mode when we experience certain things. They just do. In 2017 I was attacked for being LGBT and now whenever cars zoom by I just can't help but duck and get really afraid someone is going to jump out the car and start beating me up. I've been through years of therapy and on countless medications. Sometimes scenes of bully type violence freaks me out and puts me on edge. For example I just couldn't watch the IT movie sequel because it put me back in a mental state where I felt like I was in that situation again. I had to leave the theater in a state of mental terror.

More mental health awareness is seriously beneficial. PTSD is a disability like everything else can be medically. It's just hidden and not easy to see until someone panics. There's also science behind that panic and why your body does it. There's nothing wrong with having PTSD and needing a little help and notified warnings. We can't always be in control of our bodies chemical response to things.
Thank you for your courage in sharing your story. Hopefully you'll be able to master your PTSD one day
